We collect information you provide when creating an account or filing a trademark application, including:
- Name, email address, and password
- Business name, address, and entity type
- Trademark details and goods/services descriptions
- Payment information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card numbers)
- Specimen files and mark images you upload
2. How We Use Your Information
- To prepare and submit trademark applications on your behalf
- To send status updates and notifications about your application
- To process payments and send receipts
- To improve our AI tools and service quality
- To comply with legal obligations
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- USPTO — required to file your trademark application
- Stripe — payment processing
- Supabase — secure database hosting
- Vercel — platform hosting
- Law enforcement when required by valid legal process
4. Data Security
We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) for data in transit and AES-256 encryption for data at rest. Access to your data is restricted to authorized TradeMaker personnel and your designated filing team.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Export your application data

6. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management only. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
7. Retention
We retain your application data for 7 years to comply with legal and record-keeping requirements. Account data is deleted within 30 days of account closure unless required by law.
